STOP PRESS! It’s your last chance to hear the Hill & Son Grand Organ before she closes for building works! Book Now!

Exciting new renovations are soon to be underway at the Barossa Regional Gallery, meaning the organ will soon be closed to the public. In recent weeks we have been made aware that it is possible to hold the Barossa Vintage Festival “Music for Grand Organ” concert at the Barossa Regional Gallery with the 1877 Hill & Son Grand Organ, due to delays in the commencement of the planned upgrade works. We have decided to grab the opportunity to have a ‘Last Hurrah on the Hill’ with one more concert before an extended building closure.

So, our Vintage Festival concert venue and organ will now be the Hill & Son, instead of the JE Dodd organ at St John’s Lutheran Church in Tanunda. To say we’re excited is an understatement!

A Musical Masterpiece

One of Australia’s most beautiful instruments, the Hill & Son Grand Organ was first played at the Adelaide Town Hall over a century ago, and now stands proudly, restored to its original glory, in the Barossa Valley.

Tour, Talk, Taste!

The Hill is about to close to the public for concerts, so if you’d like to hear her majesty and maybe tinker at the keys before she’s closed as part of the gallery’s renovations, we’d love to see you at a Wednesday tour!
